Welcome to CrossFit 06830, School of Elite Fitness! CrossFit 06830 is a 4,200 sq/ft. facility located on the Boston Post Road in Greenwich with easy access to 1-95 and multiple Metro North train stations. We offer individual and group coaching, utilizing the CrossFit methodology. CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity.

 

 

What We Do.

 

We run, jump, climb, push, pull, lift, press, squat, carry, throw, and catch. We do so utilizing OUR ENTIRE BODY; not purposely isolating a certain muscle group. Every workout involves compound, multi-joint exercises. From the explosive strength and power benefits of Olympic and Powerlifting to the balance/coordination/agility skills of gymnastics, CrossFit 06830 incorporates real sport and skill that has proven the test of time!

 



Our classes our leveled to a Beginner/Intermediate/Advance level so that intensity and resistance is adapted to each individual, regardless of conditioning and experience level. We guarantee that you will discover the best results through our program. Our knowledgeable staff lives and breathes this program right along side you, to ensure that we can provide you the best product through experience and expertise.

 

What Does That Mean.

 

It means that at CrossFit 06830 you will not find rows of stationary bikes and weight machines. Instead you will find pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells and wide open space.  Our programming requires minimum to no equipment but does require quality professional expertise on the part of our staff. We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities.

 

It also means that you will never get bored. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level. And because our workouts are rarely longer than 40 minutes they can fit into even the busiest schedules.

Is CrossFit For Me?

 

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it ideal for any person regardless of experience.  The same methods that elicit optimal response in the Olympic or professional athlete will optimize the same response in the elderly. The idea is to scale load and intensity; not to change programs. We won’t have you lift weights beyond your level or perform movements beyond your skill set.

 

We pride ourselves on working with athletes of all levels and making them better.  While your grandmother and an Olympic skier won't perform squats using the same weight, they both need to squat. In fact, squatting is essential to maintaining functional independence and improving fitness. Through painstakingly thorough coaching and incremental load assignment, CrossFit has been able to teach anyone who can care for themselves to perform safely and with maximum efficacy the same movements typically utilized by professional coaches in elite and certainly exclusive environments.

 

CrossFit has tested its methods on the sedentary, overweight, pathological, and elderly and found that these special populations enjoyed the same success as our stable of athletes. If our program works for Olympic Skiers and overweight, sedentary homemakers then it will work for you.
